Equitime MAJA Endurance Saddle

The Maja endurance saddle is an English style saddle designed for modern endurance and crafted from the finest Italian leather.

Key features:

• Adjustable stirrup attachment (can be moved forward and backward) to meet the individual rider's needs
• Latex cushions. Latex is known for its important shock absorbant properties providing the ability to evenly distribute the weight of the rider without creating concentrated pressure points on the horse's back. The shape allows the horse's shoulder to move freely without hinderance and the wide channel offers excellent spinal clearance.
• The panels (cushions) are designed wider and thinner to allow for specialised endurance saddle pads
• The seat of the saddle has very slight latex bumps which correspond to the rider's pelvis preventing discomfort for the long hour's of competition. In the center of the seat there is a channel that avoids pressure on the coccyx.
• The opening of the tree can be modified for custom fit according to the conformation of the withers thanks to a special Equitime press available in the production workshop and is made from a very light composite and flexible material.
• The weight of the saddle is 4.7 kg.
• Weights can be mounted onto the underside of the saddle flaps for those who need to weigh up. Sold in pairs, 2kg, 4kg and 6kg. 

All of the above allows the rider not to develop pain or discomfort during the competition and therefore to maintain a correct posture in the saddle without extra weight on the horse's back.

Gullet Width: Narrow, medium and wide (we find the medium will fit the majority of endurance horses in Australia.
